Mwani Qatar is responsible for Hamad Port and Al Ruwais Port which are commercial ports, as well as Doha Port dedicated to handling cruise ship. 

Hamad Port, Qatar’s main gateway to world trade, is one of the largest commercial ports in the Middle East, with a total area of 28.5 sq.m and a capacity of 7.5 million TEUs annually.

With its modern facilities and its growing shipping network that provides direct and indirect services to more than 100 destinations around the world, Hamad Port unleashes the potential of commercial and investment opportunities in Qatar, as Mwani Qatar moves forward in developing sustainable ports along with building global logistical supply chains, contributing to achieving the Ministry of Transports’ strategic plan aimed to transform Qatar into a vibrant regional trading hub.

As a vital support to the infrastructure and projects in Qatar, Mwani Qatar under the guidance of the Ministry of Transport closely works with stakeholders and partners to increase cargo volumes both inbound and outbound and establish its entities preferred ports of call for all shipping lines.

Alongside its oversight of the country’s quays, dry ports, and container terminals, Mwani Qatar also provides navigation assistance and pilotage, towage, as well as Aids to Navigation (AtoNs) and has an ambitious plan to expand regionally and internationally through the acquisition and operation of ports around the world.
